href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/01\/18\/putins-secret-hideout-bathes-animal-blood-prolong-life-22388243\/\">crib <\/a>after only being seen <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/04\/11\/mystery-putin-hasnt-seen-public-10-days-22891471\/\">by his inner circle<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/10\/30\/new-proof-putins-secret-1-000-000-000-palace-revealed-strava-21892679\/\">Russian president<\/a> has taken Russian journalist Zarubin around for a glimpse in his plush apartment, revealing <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2023\/05\/28\/inside-the-russian-palace-dubbed-putins-innermost-dream-18837742\/\">what is inside. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>Speaking to the camera, Putin invites his new guest in before gilded walls, large gold-framed mirrors, gold chandeliers and exotic-looking <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/plants\/\">plants<\/a> come into view. <\/p>\n<p>He said: ‘Yes, this is the apartment. library, two bedrooms, and even a small ‘home church’. <\/p>\n<p>Formal negotiations with China’s Xi Jinping took place in the apartment. <\/p>\n<p>Putin said after the talks in March 2023: ‘We had a working lunch, and then I invited the chairman, as a friend, to move to another room.<\/p>\n<p>‘I have an apartment here [in the Kremlin], where I have been spending a lot of time lately, I work here and spend the night very often, so we moved there and, sitting by the fireplace and drinking tea, talked about everything slowly.’ <\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container shareable-item are suffering, with British Intelligence claiming the country has<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/russia-ukraine-conflict\/\"> suffered the largest loss of troops <\/a>in Ukraine since World War Two, standing at around 250,000.<\/p>\n<p>Despite this, Putin has undertaken a number of architectural projects inside his many homes.<\/p>\n<p>Last year leaked footage revealed he revamped his clifftop palace <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/10\/30\/new-proof-putins-secret-1-000-000-000-palace-revealed-strava-21892679\/\">worth \u00a31 billion<\/a>, getting rid of his pole-dancing canonised Prince Vladimir the Great, who more than one thousand years ago was credited with uniting Ukraine and Russia. <\/p>\n<p>Paintings of historical war scenes have appeared showing a heroic
